Epilepsy Awareness Training

Buccal Midazolam Training

Buccal midazolam is a medication commonly prescribed here in the UK , as what's called, a 'rescue treatment' for people with epilepsy whose seizures can be severe enough to warrant intervention. This session will build up your knowledge, safety and confidence around the medication, protocol and theory of how to administer, alongside opportunity to carry out a simulated administration exercise.

Safeguarding adults is an important part of every health and social care worker’s role. This session covers what safeguarding is, how to identify and report potential safeguarding concerns. We look at policies, procedures and good practice to positively support vulnerable adults.

Care Act 2014

On this session you will learn about the Care Act. Legislation in place to support the improvement of an indivduals wellbeing. It sets out what services local authorities should arrange, signpost or provide to support their independence or minimise developing needs for ongoing care and support. We'll explore and explain this in an easy to understand, empathise and offer case studies and other practical insights.
